Today I went sketching by the Thames in Richmond with Richard, a friend from the illustration class I used to go to. I used pen and watercolours on this view of Richmond Bridge. Richard drew a different view of the opposite bank, and you can see it on his blog at the link below.
I did this painting in the lovely weather yesterday. I decided to just use watercolour with a bit of light pencil. This is a bit of a change for me as I generally use pen on my watercolour sketches and illustrations.
